Who We Are

SekiBa Empire LTD is a bold theatre, film, and creative development company based in Mombasa, Kenya, dedicated to telling powerful African stories that challenge narratives, ignite dialogue, and inspire transformation.

We are more than a production company; we are a creative movement committed to reviving live theatre, strengthening Africa’s storytelling ecosystem, and empowering artists through performance, training, mentorship, and community engagement.

Our work spans stage and screen, producing original African stories, theatre-for-social-change productions, touring performances, and creative festivals that bring together actors, poets, and storytellers to celebrate and elevate African expression.

Through our productions and initiatives, we address pressing social issues including mental health, gender justice, and community transformation, using storytelling as a tool for awareness, healing, and impact.

Based in Mombasa and growing across Kenya and beyond, SekiBa Empire LTD is committed to positioning African storytelling as a global force for cultural identity, artistic excellence, and social change.
